It’s a fact that public areas like parks and streets are safer when they’re well-lit. Thanks to LEDs, public areas in the city of Milan will now be safer without the high cost of power. The city of Milan is pleased to announce the completion of a lighting project in Wilson Park. Three new LED lights have been added to the parking lot, and the one existing light has been upgraded. “I have listened to the concerns of residents about the safety and security of our parks over the last several years,” stated Mayor Michael Armitage in a press release. “I appreciate the support of the city council to approve this project.
