How to Make your Room Feel more Conducive to Productivity

Work Space Lighting

When you work at home, there are several distractions that could lead you to just lose focus and forget about finishing your task. In your workspace, there are a few things that you can do to help make it feel more productive so you can actually get your work done on time. Here are a few tips on how you can make your workspace at home feel more productive.

Keep it Light, but Add a Splash of Color Light colors can help calm you down, plus it makes space look bigger so you won’t feel like you’re stuck in a small corner in a room. However, you also don’t want to work in a space that’s all white, that’ll be too boring. Add an unexpected splash of color here and there. For example, stick with light colors for big furniture like your work desk but add a bright red stapler and place it on the top. Adding color can help your creativity and inspire you.

Keep it Bright, but Not too Bright Brightness is a big thing when it comes to productivity. If it’s too dim, you’re likely going to feel really sleepy and lose interest in what you’re doing. Use lights like LEDs to brighten up the area, but make sure that you defuse the light so it won’t be as harsh on the eyes.

Keep it Organised Keep everything on your workspace organized to help you locate the things you need right away. There’s nothing more frustrating than having to go through clutter just to find some tape or a paper clip. There are a number of desk organizers, even ones that come with table lamps with LED bulbs, which can make organizing easier. For any comments or questions, contact our customer support hotline.
